Social Media Specialist & Content Creator
The primary responsibility of this position is to create content for and run multiple social media accounts across various platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. You will also assist the CEO and Director of Social Operations in various marketing and social media duties as needed. Physical requirements: the role involves frequent use of hands and fingers, reaching, bending, sitting, lifting up to 20 lbs, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and driving. Sitting for long periods to write and operate equipment is common. Working conditions: a normal office environment plus travel by personal vehicle. The role requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and may be remote at times. Travel: local travel within the OKC metro is frequent. Occasional travel outside the area may be required.
- Create content for multiple social media accounts (on-site photography, short-form video creation, and minimal graphic design).
- Represent the client publicly, including on-camera for campaigns, interviews, and public speaking across all social media platforms.
- Develop and execute every step of content creation: ideation, filming, editing, and posting for campaigns that align with client objectives and increase brand awareness.
- Build social media content calendars.
- Upload and schedule social media posts monthly.
- Analyze, monitor, and communicate social media trends.
- Work under the general supervision of the Director of Social Operations while coordinating projects for clients.
- Independently manage special projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
- Use a personal device on occasion to provide an additional layer of security for company network and site access through multi-factor authentication.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience with social media and marketing campaigns, with a portfolio to show.
- Proven knowledge of all major social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, and Google.
- Familiar with public speaking and able to engage an audience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license without restrictions and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
- Must work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively on assignments.
- Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol urinalysis.
- Strong on-camera presence for client-facing campaigns.
- Photography or videography background.
- Track record of creative thinking paired with strong attention to detail.
- Servant leadership mindset: setting a positive example through daily actions and decisions.
